I don’t know about you but every year I get a lot of papers and notices from school. Some of these I need to refer to at a later date. Spelling lists, field trip info sheets, teachers’ favorite things lists, etc. I could pile them in a folder to get lost or try to keep a stack some place “important” but we all know that those papers are going to get lost. I want to keep the papers close by and easy to get to, without having to see them all the time!
I got some Command Hooks and attached them to the inside of my pantry door. I put 2 rows of 2 hooks spaced out evenly. I got some sheet protectors and placed the papers inside. I got some ring hooks and placed on the sheet protectors and hung them on the hooks.
I also printed out calendar sheets so that I can fill in activities for the kids and they can easily check what is going on before or after school. I also print out the school lunch menu. I have hung up a chore chart. (not that we use this particular one at the moment, but it was great when the kids were a bit younger and needed those visual reminders.)
Here is the finished door.
